At C’est What? Surprisingly not bad. Fresh aroma, and a creamy mint taste to compliment the usual flavours of a porter. Not overpowering as I would have expected, and actually quite refreshing. I wouldn’t have a full pint of it again, but a half would hit the spot.

On tap at C'est What? Festival of Small Brewers. Seems like Trafalgar makes base beers, adds stuff, and pawns them off as something different.

Pours a hazed brown/red, thin brown head, some lace spots, settles to a thin layer, looks like porter. Smell is chocolate, some roast, peppermint, bit of coffee, doesn't smell too bad. Taste is some chocolate roast, toffee, peppermint middle, decent roast finish. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied, thin, low carbonation, pretty smooth. Trafalgar seems to be making a few decent beers now.
