Clear, dark ruby/brown with a thin lace of light tan head. Moderate retention with some stickage on the sides of the glass. Grainy malt aroma with a bit of toffee and sweetness, plus a hint of roast malt and light alcohol. Malty flavour with slight roastiness. Bitterness is on the light side with low hop flavour. Short, malty finish with some alcohol warming. Decent body with some residual sugars that end up being a bit sticky, but overall quite nice. One of the better offerings I've had from this brewery. Good work! Thanks Viggo.

Pours a deep dark red/brown, nice off white head forms, little lacing on the glass. Smells like grassy sweet malts, some roast, little bit of hops and a little smoke. The taste is pretty rich and malty, little bit of a smoked taste and a sweet smooth malt backbone. Nice mellow beer, good carbonation and very pleasant to drink, the best Amsterdam has ever done.

This brewery is on the uptrend, with a good quality bock following on the heels of a good Krestmas. Nice very dark brown colour. Appropriately better than average carbonation, well-malted, and a significant amount of smoke. Very fresh from the brewery.
