Pours dark burgundy with a gigantic, chunky head. Grainy, fruity, moorish malts fill the nose. Roasty chocolate malts, smoke, berries, fruit salad in the taste. Light carbonation but full bodied. The finish is lightly bitter with molasses sweetness in the finish.
An excellent Scottish Ale. Very malty, complex and quaffable. Seek it out if you enjoy malty beers or Scotch Whiskey.
