Copper coloured and lightly carbonated, KLB Pale Ale has a complex, fruity bouguet and a full malt body. Pale Ale is balanced with an assertive Fuggels bittering hop that gives it a long, bittersweet finish. This is a true "beer drinker's" beer.

Cask at Volo CaskFest 2008. Some hop aroma and grapefruit taste. Light mouthfeel. Minimum crown head on grapefruit colour. Not too bitter, significant caramel. A passable beer and so-so drinkable, better than a macro. Recipe the same after all these years and improvement on beers.

A: This is the most impressive characteristic of this beer is the looking, really nice amber copper color with a head prominent with a beige color that dissipates with some time leaving behind good enough traces. When against light it is possible to see a lot of glances of colors and yellow to reddish hues.
S: Somehow a little poor quality character, some hops with some barley can be sensed but not to intense.
T: Bitter flavor from the beginning to the end, hops and malts are present with some kind of metallic flavor.
M: Even that it is refreshing the metallic flavor is not too pleasant to the mouth, the bitterness is somehow preserved for some time.
