Bottle purchased at the brewery's new (to me) Toronto location last week-end. Wish I'd picked up more!
Pours an oily, clear amber with honey tones. The minimal off-white head disappears more quickly than I'd expected, especially given its excellent mouthfeel. Beautiful "west coast" aroma is a nice mix of bitter resin and candied tropical fruits. The flavour has all the hops for which I'd hoped, but with a surprisingly stiff malt back bone. Lots of depth to the body, and a finish that lingers with scarily little trace of the 9% ABV.
A DIPA of which Ontario and Amsterdam can be very proud.

Decent all around. Soft gold pour. Not much collar here or lacing. Apricot nose that isn't overly complex. Decent bite at first sip that doesnt linger so good balance. Fairly cheap for an imperial so a good find.

I bought a can at the lcbo in Ontario.
poured a nice 2 finger head into glass . very nice flavor and enjoyable also
taste of tropical fruits pineapple and orange , slick and resiny leaves a nice lace as you drink it.
very interesting this beer for me
it's the strongest beer I've had and the alcohol is almost hidden here at 9.1%.until you reach the end of it its noticed.
I like it very much would buy again I think

Hazy and cloudy light amber color with a mist of yeast and no activity. Slightly creamy beige 1-2 finger head, lasting around 5 minutes, strong lacing but shy legs ans swirl reaction. Flavors of pineapples, grapefruits, orange, caramel, butter, clove, and herbal hops (citra, columbus, simcoe). Slick and oily medium body with a soft crisp. Strong strength finish, highly tropical, citrusy, and peppery. A bit leafy while more piney. Bold but still decently intensified and fresh while well balanced. Low alcohol feel for the abv that's quite treacherous. Overall high quality craft.

Reminds me a lot of Muskoka Twice as Mad Tom. Lots of malt/hop aroma; not fruity but a mix of smoky, spicy, earthy, piney, bready, with some citrus in the background. Taste gives all the same with maybe some light clove mixed in, then a bit of alcohol heat & definite astringent bitterness to finish off each sip. It's not the style I've grown most attached to with the emergence of the juicy hazy NE IPAs, but a solid 9.1 ABV with a good dose of hops & no unpleasant flavours.

Copper with lots of sediment floating within, a little carbonation and 3 fingers of yellowish head.
Smells really fruity and dank. I get tropical punch, pineapple, mangos, papaya, and oranges.
The taste totally follows the nose, and is full of tropical fruit flavours, with a light sweetness.
Medium, seamlessly unflawed body that covers the ABV. Little carbonation.
Drinking this at the cottage Dec 13th, 2017. Excellent brew!

pours dark orange with a foamy shortlived head. Not a lot of lace clinging to the glass on the way down. Leafy, resinous, heral fresh hop aromas fill the nose. The taste is dominated by grapefruit, pine, mango hops. Alcohol heat is high even for the strength, tending to distract from the hop onslaught. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. The finish is boozy and bitter for a long while.
This is a nice DIPA, but the high alcohol presence takes away from the hop profile. Still worth a try.
