Pours a cloudy, glowing dark brown color with a huge, spongy head.
Smells of slightly spicy bakers chocolate, melted toffee and a note of grassy hops.
Has a lower carbonated, lighter mouthfeel with a surprising flavor profile, revealing a very flavorful beer.
Tastes of burned grains from the very beginning, coated by toffee and a note of licorice. Offers a good amount of bakers chocolate and a hint of caramel, with even more scorched malts. Finishes heavy on the chocolate, amped up by spicy licorice and a bubbly effervescence.
This is pretty great, intense, way more flavorful than expected - sweet, smoky and quite thick. I want another.
