Paradisiac carries all of the aromas associated with triple blondes, but takes them to a deliciously creamy, sugary new level. The nose is ripe with raisins and dates, brown sugars, bananas covered in melted caramel, lychee nut, and oranges, all of which rests atop a bed of toasted grains.

On the tongue, the tastes are no less powerful, though many of the more nuanced flavors from the nose do get lost in the muddle. Many of the citrus and banana notes remain, but mixed in with a light lemon-lime, soda water sourness that would seem more likely in a Flemish ale. Toasted grains swirl around in this slightly sour haze, adding an oatmeal-like biscuit tenor. Mouthfeel is quite light, and the aftertaste is dominated by sourness, with just a hint of sugars.

Overall, this is a strange brew (no movie references intended), coming across like the nose from one beer has been surgically grafted onto another. The beer is still good, but unexpected, and I think the sourness will turn many off. If you like Flemish ales, give this one a try.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy dirty yellow color ale with a medium foamy head with average retention and some lacing. Aroma of overly sweet malt with spicy yeast and phenolic ester. Taste is not as bad as expected with some lightly overly sweet malt with a spicy peppery yeast and some light alcoholic phenols. Body is quite full with good carbonation and light alcohol is apparent. Not as bad as the rating would suggest but lacking some complexity and subtlety.

My bottle says 8.0% and the sticker is slightly changed. Mentions that it is a strong beer and that it is a Belgian Triple... Is it the same beer? I can't say.

A: Golden yellow color with some haziness.
S: Some citrus fruits in the smell with some light notes of hops.
T: Again, citrus fruits. Acidic taste with light bitterness at the end.
M: Medium body. Mellow in the mouth.
D: So easy to drink, this is a dangerous beer.

Pours a heavy hazy murky brownish yellow, a fair head that laces down to a film. Decent carbonation.

Prominent aroma of the house yeast strain, malt and sugar... makes you wonder if you're not gonna get hit with a cloying sweet beer. Flavor is malty and very much "shoune" yeasty, also a fairly balanced bitter and dry finish. There was a little hot alcohol burn present as well in the finish.

It's unique in the way "shoune" beers can be, but I'd have a hard time having more than one.

Brewed based on Mr. Rahman's recipe from Marche Rahman. A Belgian with some bitterness. Malty yeasty aroma and initial taste was oK though sugary. Yeasty head on pale colour. Not very tasty, malty yeasty. It was selling because it's new and there prominently in his cooler, but not very drinkable. Lace.
