a: murky chocolate brown in color with a full, well-retained beige head and nice lace

s: caramel/toffee body with some brushes of chocolate and roast, hops on the earthy side with a nice peaty smoke character

m: body seems just a touch thin with a smooth, moderate carbonation

t: somewhat malty body with a nice blend of peat and roast towards the middle, delicate peat lightly sweet at the beginning turning dry in the finish, earthy hop flavors with a mild-moderate bitterness and slight buttery note, good balance but just a little understated in the toffee/caramel department

d: easy - good for a few pints
