I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a clear golden with no head and no lace. The scent had crisp bread notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright malt base with bitter finishing hop presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

From a 4 oz. taster at the brewery on March 30, 2019.
It looks the way a Kolsch should look with a light yellow-golden color and moderate clarity. A quick lasting white head.
There was a lemon zest that jumped out at me on first whiff. I also picked up some vague toasted malts and crackers in the aroma but I wanted more. Also some grass.
Light bodied beer.
Overall a sweet and toasty taste with a clean, crisp finish. It was an above average representation of the style. I think this is one of their flagship ales.

On draft at Elm City 01/23/16. Table service in a pint glass, clean, straw coloured, with a small head and a wee bit of lacing. Faint nose but what there was was bright and sweet. Taste was appropriately malt-forward, sweet and vegetal but with a faint off taste like, I don't know, paraffin? Light-bodied with OK carbonation. Overall, a competent kölsch, true-to-style. I'm sure I'll order it again.

Poured on-tap and served in a tumbler pint, the beer is a light, hazy, pale, yellow color with a filmy, clingy, ring of head. Clean nose, with a slight floral and toasty blending. The beer's flavors are rich and smooth, with heavy toasted cereal and buttery highlights. A tangy and floral aftertaste, with a smooth finish. Good, heavy body. This is a tasty beer.

Served: On tap from the New England Brewfest.
A: Cloudy golden straw in color with a fluffy white head.
S: This may seem strange but I smelled not only bananas ... but some sort of wax candle smell.
T: Taste of malts, corn, and ... peanuts?
M: Stronger flavor than expected. Medium body.
D: I had strange interactions between taste and smell so I probably would not get this again. It could have been the end or beginning of a keg so it may not have been perfect.

Served as a pale golden colored with moderate whit head.
Smell is light, with some malt detected.
Taste is very crisp and refreshing. There is enough malt to give a nice sweetness and the hops balance it nicely.
Finish is refreshing without being overbearing.
A nice easy to drink bear that goes very well with food.

This is a favorite of mine, I've had this brew more than anyother at elm city and just enjoy it every time. Nice Clear Golden Blond color, the smell is very mellow, crisp hop effect. Very light yet, crisp on the palat and goes down easy with a dry-ish finish. Great for warmer weather months and BBQ's. Head tends to be thin, and goes away rather quickly, but it is a light bodied beer.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub.
Shaker pint glass presentation. Slight 1/4" white head over clear light golden brew, with acceptable lacing. Aroma is slight, but of pale malts and crisp hops. Taste keeps that crispness, with a nice smooth pale malt undercurrent. Mouthfeel and drinkability are both great, and this was quite the enjoyable start to my visit at Elm City.
