I had this beer on tap at the Elm City Brew Pub this past weekend while I was in NH for the weekend
a - this beer looked just like an irish stout should, very very dark ruby red in color, and a nice creamy looking head
s - again like most stouts there wasn't much there in the scent. you could make out the roasted barely a bit and a little cream but that's about it
t - this is an excellent tribute to the irish stouts (Guinness, Beamish & Murphy's) it has the dry taste expected from this style while at the same time having a maltier character to it. nice and smooth all the way down, and the head managed to stay all the way down as well
m - this was the only area I thought this beer could be improved, most stouts feel heavy in your mouth, this was much more the consistency of an english bitter
d - a very drinkable beer, i had 3 over the course of an hour and a half or so and wanted more, excellent work Elm City

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
