From the 64 fl. oz. growler kegged in March 2016. Sampled on March 30, 2016.
It pours a little cloudy but it is dark brown with red hues and a modest. soft tan head.
Sweet and musty malts lead the aroma sensations along with a little toffee and caramel but low to no hop profile.
Medium body. Smooth.
Same forward malty sensation with a touch of mustiness and a slightly more notable earthy hop finish. Still subtle but balanced. I enjoy this style and they did a nice job with it.
