On-tap 4/28/17. 8 oz. Snifter.
A hazy straw-gold color. Light, thin fizzy white cap, spreads out pretty fast.
A very sharp Belgian-like yeast aroma, metallic, wild and tangy. Sharp wheat, crispy malt and big yeastie nose.
One of the better Belgian styles offered by this long time Keene pub. Tangy and sharp yeast, earthy and pretty funky with sweet and sour tones from the yeast. Light, wheat and very crisp malt. A sharp earthy bite from the hops. Pretty much nails the American version of a big golden Belgian style. Decent complexity and very easy to drink.
The feel was very healthy and clean. Crisp, sharp bite, very lively with a long, lush and almost full finish. Slightly dry.remained crisp throughout.
A very nice Belgian -ish style from my hometown spot.
