I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving some nice lace. The scent had bitter citrus and pine notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright malt base with bitter citrus and pine resin presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Living in keene, NH. Elm City Brewing is my home spot. I can say that C Monster is one of the very best brews offered. ** update notes from a mini growler 1/6/23 below**

A totally, lively gold color with a bit of amber. The white foam head rises high, recedes rather quickly but leaves plenty of fine foam coverage.

A very well rounded hoppy nose, sharp citrus, earthy, leafy hops with some sweet fruits mixed in. Very nice.

The flavor has some serious hoppy depth. A huge crispy and lively body and feel, light golden malt provides a fine base. The hops cover a lot of ground. From earthy, dry leafy and grainy tones to a mix of sharp citrus and sweet wild fruits. Really good complexity in the hop. Balance is excellent.

An alltime favorite from my home spot!

Elm City Brewing Company IPA-American

:

A traditional AIPA with a nice piney bitterness, crispy edges and tart fruitiness. One of Elm City's most potent hop forward offerings.** update from a growler 1/6/23: old school clear amber color. Malty sweet and piney nose. Balanced is the word.

On tap at the source.
Hazy deep yellow color with a thin head that didn't make it to my bar stool. Rich citrus and light fruity hops on the nose and in the flavor with a faint sweet bready maltiness to counter. Pretty tasty IPA.
