The latest batch brewed pours a dark orange/amber and retains a decent head.
The smell is a light citrus with faint floral scents.
The taste is rather balanced with some sweet malts up front in the taste followed by some citrus and floral hop flavors. Not as hoppy as I would have like but solid over all.
This DIPA was said to be brewed to 8% ABV but doesn't feel as thick or taste too heavy on alcohol due to the slightly higher level of carbonation which makes for a very drinkable beer.

AP: Pours a dark orange color, thin off-white head that was nearly gone by the time I sat down at my table from the bar (12 feet or so) medium body.
Smell: fine sweet malt and plenty of floral scented hops.
Taste: Nice balance between smooth malty and bitter hops. pretty complex. Sweet flavors dominate at first, giving way to a nice clean hop effect. not bitter.
MF: Smooth with a bit of pop from the hops.
DA: I had two pints, the charecteristics were about the same for both, very enjoyable.
