Has a golden cloudy look to it. Pours a pretty good head and leaves a bit of lace. The head does fizzle down pretty quickly though. This beer went down very smooth, a little bit of sweet fruits to go along with a little hoppy taste. It's almost too easy going, but very enjoyable, especially for a warm day! One of the best beers I've had at the Elm City Brewing Co.

Thanks to jcwattsrugger for bringing back a growler from his recent trip to New Hanpshire!
Pours golden with a white head that leaves spots of lacing on the glass.
The smell is of grain, bready yeast and a slight touch of alcohol.
The taste is of sweet grain and biscuity notes. Some balancing bitterness with a slight touch of alcohol in the dry finish. Medium-bodied. Grainy and smooth with just a hint of warmth.
Very good example of a traditional Mai Bock/ Helles Bock (with maybe a hint more hops - far from complaining though). Fits style well enough with its balanced fresh graininess and is a very nice brew.

Light straw color, foamy white head that dissipates rather quickly. I enjoy this style of beer very much, this is not the best example of the style, but very enjoyable. Wonderful balance of flavor, slight initial almond flavor which is very nice. Couldn't place which "nut" flavor it was...but almonds are the closest thing. Worth anoher Pint!

Nice russet-brown color, a touch cloudy, with a small, fine head. Leaves a small amount of lace. Mild nose, more hops evident than the malt. Has good body, and very nice on the tongue, as I found all of their biers I sampled. Pleasing flavor, with a nice malt backbone. But the hops overpower the malt at the end, too much so, imo, for a Maibock. I like 'em malty, with the hops hanging around in the background. Still a good brew.
