Had on tap. Reddish brown semi-opaque pour with a thin off-white ring. Aromas of candi sugar, belgian yeast and general dark fruits. Taste is much the same, slight phenols added that distract, finish is long with candi sugar dipped dark fruits lingering. Feel is medium-light bodied, malty more than yeast, smooth. Good dubbel for the new world

Post-Monadnock beer on tap. Clouds turned to sun while we drank. Solid dubbel, not elite but quenching. Boozy red ale with a twinge of Belgian flavor
