Deep in the woods of Danville, New Hampshire, a howling beast is lurking. Measuring 6 feet tall with razor sharp claws, enter: the Devil Monkey. Brewed with an array of roasted malts and a heap of brown sugar, this full-bodied imperial stout delivers a strong roast character complimented by subtle notes of chocolate, coffee, and classic American hops.

Had on tap. Standard black body and a finger of brown foam. Smell and taste are clones with a classic complexion: roasted malts give off flavors of dark chocolate, coffee, earth, barley, brown sugar, and finished off with a pinch of herbal hops. Feel is a malty and roasted medium bodied, a little thin and lacks creaminess, booze leaks a bit on the finish, not the most refined. Solid stout when wanting to go old school
