Served in a wine glass beer is black / dark brown with haze, a thin tan head of small bubbles that leaves some lacing on the glass, bad retention low carbonation, looks good.
Aroma is complex and nice with some sweetness, vanilla, chocolate, mild roast, I like it.
Beer is medium to light in body, sweet up from with nice chocolate / fudge to the whole thing. I really enjoy it a lot. THe finish is bitter with a sort of coffee roastiness that I really enjoy. I'd have this beer again, the only thing I don't like is how thin it is. Other than that it is quite nice.

On tap at SAVOR 2011. Served in a goblet.
Pours a very dark brown color with a thin tan head with some sparse lacing. The nose carries a heavy amount of chocolate, coffee, and roast with some vanilla in the background. The flavor combines the coffee, chocolate, and vanilla quite well with some roasted malt in the background. Medium body with a slightly dry finish and average carbonation. Nice vanilla throughout. Good beer.
