Sour Brown is a brown ale which has spent nine months in oak barrels. These barrels typically has lots of funny microbes hidden deep inside the wood. These do weird things with beer over time. This beer is slightly sour and refreshing. Have it with your favourite veggies or cheeses. Serve at 8 degrees Celsius.

This is def no English brown its a sour brown and clearly states so anyways it pours a beautiful nut brown with a fluffy three finger head and lacing everywhere, the smell is oak, cherries,Brett and a real mustiness about it,the mouthfeel is light bodied and well carbonated and for a sour brown its a subdued version but very drinkable with tastes of slight oak,Brett, chestnuts and finished with a light tartness and overall it's a nice step into the sour land and if it was cheaper I'd drink more of this cheers.

P: 0.25 L bottle poured into a snifter
A: SRM pale/hazy brown. Semi translucent. Head is light tan, 1 in, dissipates to a thin yet sustaining head. Medium/heavy carbonation. No lacing.
S: Tartness, oak, malt.
T: Mildly tart with a sustaining malt base. Notes of oak. Aftertaste is tart.
M: Light body. Does not set heavy on the palate but tartness adds depth of flavor.
O: Very nice. Mild brown beer at the base and a nice mild sourness. I think this will age well. A little heavy on the carbonation straight out of the bottle, but once you swirl it in the glass a bit to aerate, it is fine.
