Sample from bottle at Vectura-messe. Black colour, tan head. Aroma of roast malts, calvados, cognac and whisky, oak. Rich and sweet flavour with the same elements. Warming mouthfeel. Would buy again.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of black chocolate notes with some with some light vanilla and whiskey barrels notes is quite pleasant. Taste is a mix of black chocolate notes with some light vanilla and whiskey barrels notes with some residual sugar notes and light warming alcohol notes. Body is full with medium carbonation and light warming alcohol notes. Very enjoyable BA stout.
