330 mL bottle. Deep brown. Smells of intense smoke and meatiness, brown bread, caramel. Tastes very smokey, but with a lot more malt profile. Deep toasted malt, chewy breadiness, smoke, hints of barrel. Pretty sweet, but it tempers the smoke. Medium heavy. Low barrel character, maybe because smoke dominates, but either way it's really good.

Nov. 2020: 330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 13%, IBU 50. Black colour, moderate to small tan head. Aroma of peat smoke, roast malts, tar, whisky, oak and vanilla. Very sweet, peaty and roasty flavour - the various flavours are "all over the place" and appear unbalanced to me. Still kind of impressive with a rich mouthfeel, but hardly a beer I'll buy again.
