330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 14.5%, IBU 30. Black colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of roast malts, white wine and oak. Sweet flavour, more roasty than a normal quadrupel, notes of brown sugar, "spicy" white wine and oak, hints of chocolate and liquorice. Warming mouthfeel.

White wine quadrupel, barrel aged for 20 months in American Sauvignon Blanc barrels.
10deg C, 14.5% ABV, 30IBU, 0.33L.
Dark brown with a hint of red. Little foam.
Aroma is typical of a quad, strong on raisins, plumes, very sweet.
Taste of coffee, wood, dark chocolate, dark fruits.
Overall a great beer, this is my first white wine barrel aged one that I tasted, so I'm not sure how it compares to others in this category. It feels rather thin bodied though, similar to liquor.
