7/13/25 - (The Silver Stamp) (Las Vegas, Nevada) Bar Notes: $12 10 oz tulip glass draft pour, 7.5% ABV. Beech wood smoked bock Grimstad, Norway.
Appearance: 10 oz dark brown bronze base, tan white creamy head leaves spotty lacing and a creamy bubbly cover. 4.25
Aroma: Nice smoke, sausage and beechwood aroma. Pulling this smoke beer whore in like cheap perfume on a Vegas, well you know what. 4.5
Taste: Mild plus taste, consistent with the aroma, just not as intense. Rich smoked flavors, more wood than meat, and digging the subtle touch. 4.0
Mouthfeel: Faint gentle carbonation, ice easy smoke for those smoke averse. Drinks easy, below the ABV, beech wood the star finish here. 4.0
Overall: This is a solid smoke beer, a good option for someone looking for a light touch for the flavor without the strong versions I love but others steer clear. Nice intro to this brewery, hope to come across more. 4.0

500 ml bottle, batch #2581, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.5%, IBU 30. Moderately hazy brown to red colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of beech-smoked malts, over-ripe dark berries, raisins, smoked salmon and smoked meat. Light bodied for its strength. Smoky flavour with the same elements as the aroma, but not extreme.
