Copenhagen 15/11 2025. 75 cl bottle with a swing cap from Super Marco, Støberigodsvej, Kbh. SV. White label with a crudely drawn peacock.
Pours opaque, murky amber with a big white head. Stable. Settles as a thin but unbroken layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, malty and boozy odor mingling with a sourish scent. Sweet pale malts, bread and a hint of citrus. Metallic alcohol. Sourish grains.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, a bit viscous, soft, tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is lightl tart with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while.
Potent Belgian Pale Ale with a touch of caramel and alcohol.

It's got two types of honey, wild plums, sour cherries and champagne yeasts, so i'm pretty curious about it.
Pours hazy golden, two finger head, big retention.
Smells of honey, fruit (red apple, plum, grape), flowers, fermentation sugars/caramel and spices.
Fruity from the start, with nice red apple, pear, apricot, some mild citrus (oranges and lime), low pineapple and plum. It's mainly acidic at first, but it gets sweeter as it warms. Big hints of honey, also bringing floral notes.
Pale malts, with a low grainy characteristic. Spicy yeasts, giving off clove, vanilla, prickly pepper, some low coriander and orange peel. Hops are green and mildly bitter in the finish.
Carbonation is more than mild, because of the champagne yeasts. A bit watery though. Booze is felt from time to time, but never disturbing.
Had bigger expectations, it doesn't bring you enough bang for your buck. Not bad at all, sure, but the price tag and the fancy bottle (with all the praises and info) promised more.
