750 mL pours a lightly hazed gold color with a large-bubbled white head. Average retention and lace.
Nose is grainy malt with a little bit of fruity yeast, similar to a Belgian Pale Ale. A few suggestions of grassy hops.
Taste is much of the same, malts are surely almost all pilsner malt with a decidedly Belgian yeast strain. Im pleased with the hop schedule, just an even keel of old world varietals. Its simplistic for sure, and certainly has no business being packaged in 750 mL bottles. A standard sixer priced at 8 or 9 bucks of this would do just fine. Refreshing beer that is not bad at all.

After spending considerable time in Italy (summer 2013), I never came across this beer, it was not until I returned home and discovered it at the local liquor shop in McAllen, Texas. In my opinion, it takes like a Belgian Ale and nothing more. It pours dark gold, little head, no lacing, and very little carbonation. It has a pleasent taste of honey, sugar, wheat, and grapes (go figure it's Italy), goes down ceasy no bite, and not filling. It feels if Italy is trying to hard to produce a great beer....
