A Rye'd On Collaboration with Upstreet Craft Brewing
Fierce loyalty and shared tastes are the gateway to a lifelong friendship. Upstreet and Picaroons are coming together to brew something totally new. Rye'd on is an Imperial Rye Beer we've collaborated on to brew with the same malt and hops but different yeast. Trust us on this one.

L- Pours a slightly red brown/amber topped by a 1/4 finger slightly off white head. Works down to a few whispy patches fairly quickly. Light lacing.
S- Rye spiciness, floral hops, and the distinct sweetness of the "ringwood" yeast that comes with a lot of Picaroons brews.
T- A big punch of Rye malt to start off, moving to a slight tanginess (possibly due to the Rye malt?). Finishes off with a blunt grassy bitterness. Seems to give off more yeasty sweetness as it warms.
F- Medium Body and low-moderate but steady carbonation.
O- I'm not well versed in the world of Rye Beers but this one is pretty good according to my tastes. It offers a distinct spiciness that should be expected when dealing with Rye malt, along with a good dose of floral hoppiness and yeasty goodness. Definitely a "once a night" type a beer but a good one at that.
