Great place, friendly owner. Opened early for us on a Monday, as we had called ahead and were on a tight schedule. Brewery is hidden away in a light industrial area, but the taproom is clean, open and tidy. Very comfortable, 12 beers on tap. Highly recommend this place.

Quaint little brewery taproom in an industrial area on the east side of the river. Small L-shaped bar to the left of the entrance seats 7 with some tables about the room and a good size covered porch to the left of the building. 10 beers on tap, the 3 I had were solid. Friendly bartender.

i thought this place was great. i had never been too impressed with the beers you see around town from them, namely the very sweet scotch ale, but when we visited the brewery, everything was really solid. the space is neat, its got a big outdoor area but inside looks like an old dental office or something, vaulted ceilings, house plants, minimal decor, and it might even be carpeted, i cant quite remember, but it feels like my grandparents living room or something, mellow and cozy but sort of odd, different than any other taproom ive been to, but in a way thats hard to quantify. they had about ten beers on tap when we were in, and i fell head over heels in love with their hef, a near perfect example of a style that almost always seems like an afterthought from craft breweries in this country. the ipa i has was also tasty and well made. service was fine, the dude is not real talkative or excitable, but he was welcoming enough and is obviously making some nice beers. the list wasnt too adventurous, but the quality was there, well ahead of the expectations i had, based mainly on their scotch ale. definitely a neat little place to visit and suck down a few ales, ill be back when i am in town again for sure. i think the beer is better than it gets credit for...

Beggars can't be choosers when it comes to beer in Idaho. I assumed it and then experienced it first hand. However, IBC was a nice little place in a land with not a whole lot else to choose from as far as craft goes. It's a small building, and inside is a "bar" that feels more like your hanging out in someone's living room. Not saying that in a bad way, it's just very homey and familiar. There's also a significantly larger outside seating area, and when I was there, there was a Mexican-style food truck as well. Service was slow, but okay...I'm pretty sure the bartender was also actively brewing a beer at the time. The beers were okay, nothing really blew my mind, but there were all your typical flagship styles, and a few mildly adventurous ones, like a pear lager. It's a cool spot and worth checking out.

Small bar and several tables. Never crowded in my experience. Very friendly to locals. Nice oasis in the beer desert of Eastern Idaho.

I hit the IBC on a weekday afternoon during a biz trip to IF. It's not the easiest place to find; access is kind of goofy as the street address provided really has no frontage. You have to circle around back through a ramshackle industrial structure to find your way in. Once there, it 's well worth it. My January visit coincided with IBC having an ESB, Barley Wine and IPA all on tap, so I was elated. All were superbly executed - the ESB was balanced and very drinkable; the Barley Wine was a potent concoction [9%] and the IPA was a balanced offering, with just the right shot of hops as not to knock you off your stool. Very laid back and friendly atmosphere; there's no food but the staff will give you a solid recommendation for that. They told me about the SnakeBite in downtown Idaho Falls, an establishment worthy of your consideration, too as they had IBC's Scottish Ale - an offering I'd yet to sample - on tap.
