Medium bodied brew, with a good mix of hops and malts. Slightly spicey, with a touch of cloves on the back end. Poured with no head off the firkin at Sean Bolan's with a nice copper tinged gold.
Smooth, easy, and not overly bitter. Though it doesn't wow me, the mellowness makes it surprisingly drinkable.

Reddish with cream-yellow foamy head. Almost looks like a well-mixed black-and-tan.
Had a fresh malt aroma with hints of nutmeg and floral hops.
Classic British mild with fruity ale characteristics. Nicely subtle dessert spice background.
Texture was round and smooth. Cask-conditioning made it very appealing. Extremely light carbonation.
Drinkability was good. I went back for seconds with my meal.
Had on cask at Dilly Deli in Mariemont, OH. I had this beer with crab cakes for dinner and they went together great. Give it a shot!
