Interesting name for this strong ale. This was on the engine at the mare. Very nice caramel color with a nice head. From the pour, there were a few bubbles the lent to a good throat feel. The beer has a medium body that compliments the malty and slightly spicy nose. In the mouth there was a warm malty taste that lasted well past the swallow.
A great beer to take the nip of fall off the return trip from the railroad museum. I will look for this in a bottle on my next trip to York, as it was one I was unable to bring home.
