This is as good a Cedar infused beer as I have had. Very nice pour with warm brown tones. Decent head that settled quickly. Very pleasant aroma with hint of chocolate and a touch of coffee with a pleasant non overbearing cedar essence woody quality. Each sip seems to get better as the beer opened up leaving me longing for more. Overall this was a very, very good unique beer.

Had this on tap at the Old Hickory Station a few times. The cedar imparts a slight dryness & some peppery notes. This beer was very drinkable & well worth a try, many layers of flavor with a nice cakeyness

Had on tap. The smell is like having a dark fruit forward british barleywine with caramel toast accents, in a humidor, wonderful aromas abound. The wood is artfully and fully present in the taste too, with the barley, raisin, leather and toffee melding with it especially well. Beer is chewy yet not too heavy.

10.4%ABV per growler label.Pours into an oversized win glass a deep walnut color with a thinner light beige head atop.Deep fruity maltiness along with a bit of the toasted cedar in the nose, not huge aromas but very inviting.A full chewy feel in the mouth make the beer feel lush.A cherry flavor hits me on the palate but not overly sweet,it seems like the cedar gives off enough toast to counter balance any big sweetness,I really like the lingering cedar flavors in the finish.OHB killed it here, not to sweet and the cedar is great in the finish.
