Came in standard pint a deep cola color with garnet hue a thinner off white head atop.Cocoa powder with some light fruity esters,and mild roast in the nose.A lighter feel even for the style.Cocoa powder and caramel notes upfront on the palate with a touch dark bread and earth in finish.Not bad not on pare with alot of great German black lagers but food friendly and very drinkable.

On draught at Duckworths on Park Road.

A: Jet black, nice fluffy head.

S: Roasted malts, slight breadiness, toffee.

T: Toffee, slight fruitiness, and whole grain bread.

F: Super creamy. Definitely the smoothest black lager I've ever tasted.

O: Damn tasty. Made pretty true to style, but the easy drinkablity puts this one over top.
