A funky dark brown to burgandy color. Thin head that clocked out early.
Nice malty aroma with some peat and molassas.
Sharp rich malty flavors. Although this is quite the malt heavy beer the sweetness is not over done. Nicely balanced.
The mouthfeel ruins this beer for me. Way to thin imo. Coors has more body than this beer. A great way to ruin a beer is give it the viscosity of water.
I had a hard time finishing this beer due to the mouthfeel. OHB has much better beers. If you want something dark you can't go wrong with the Hickory Stick Stout.

This beer was a purpleish mahogany and there was a fair head with some lacing. The smell was malty and the taste had a deffinate honey flavor. The mouthfeel was a tad this for the style but this did not make it bad. It had a good taste and I could drink it again sometime.
