L: This Beer pours a golden color with plentiful rising bubbles. The head is a sudsy off-white with medium to large sized bubbles.
S: For a beer that is marketed as being tropical, it didn’t have a huge amount of smell profile. Though the smell was a pleasant variety of hops, orange, pineapple, and more tropical aromas.
T: Unfortunately, the taste is pretty lack luster for an IPA. There’s a surprising lack of bitterness. It tastes closer to a pale ale than an actual IPA. The malt flavors are pretty dim and far away. The most prominent flavors consist of orange pith and apples. It reminds me of a hard cider, though that wasn’t exactly what I was looking for when grabbing an IPA. Overall, the flavor profile is very simple and non-complex.
F: Mouth feel is fine. It feels in the mouth like any regular light beer. It’s not overly carbonated and is easily drinkable. If it tasted better you could drink many of these and feel fine.
O: Overall, this beer is fine, but I can’t see myself getting it again. The flavor is okay and it goes down easy. It definitely hides the 7% ABV well, but it could use some more complex flavors such as bitterness and maybe a stronger malt flavor.

16 oz can with no date apparent but supposedly new to store.
The body is amber with high clarity and loads of visible carbonation bubbles. The white head is moderate size with good durability.
The aroma is bready for style but the flavor clearly gestures hops. Grassy notes appear as well as the expected tropical fruit notes.
