Pours from the growler into a stemmed glass a slightly murky amber shade with not much head to speak of.Aromas of bourbon and mild spiciness from the rye barrel,burning alcohol,and a shot resiny hops coming thru as it warms a bit.It gets real boozy and bourbon soaked as I drink more.A triple IPA?Maybe but the hops are not the main component of the beer.
