One of the smoothest lagers I've tried. Great taste. No nasty after taste. Sells very quickly in my bar. The 79 rating is far from the truth. On Draft I would rank this beer at a 90.

On tap at Garage Tavern into pint glass. Pours crystal clear deep ruby red/copper color with a small dense off white head, good retention and spotty soapy lacing on the glass. Aromas of mild toffee, grain, and herbal hops. A bit of yeast earthiness. Taste of caramel, biscuit, nuts, wood, peppercorn, pine, herbal, grass. Medium pine herbal bitter finish. Crisp clean refreshing finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; balanced bready/grainy malt and sticky hop mouthfeel. Drying sticky hops after the finish. No astringency. Flavorful for 4%, a tad watery but easy drinking. Very good for the style. Clean lager flavors with no fruity esters.

A- red color that is opaque. Less than a quarter finger head.
S- caramel malts and raisin with hints of figs.
F- raisin and figs and slight caramel malts.
M- medium bodied that is somewhat chewy. Almost like a biting into a fig.
O- a nice lager...in fact one of the better lagers i have had. Smooth, chewy and filling.
