12 oz can of Peaches a la Mode: a Berliner Weisse from Olde Hickory Brewery (NC). It's fresh having a 22 June 2021 canning date stamp, and comes with lively carbonation. Despite the lively carbonation, the head soon recedes to a partial coat and ring over the hazy golden body.
This has a relatively clean and fruity flavor. It's not as specifically peachy as one might expect given the name and the use of "real peaches", especially in the aroma, but the fruity flavor and aroma do convey a family resemblance along with some peach notes. Subtle wheat notes underlie the fruit. Unlike pie-a-la-mode but true to style, this is quite tart.
Overall: refreshing, tasty and quite drinkable.
