Appearance. Clear orange-brown body with an exceptionally durable beige head.
This "Christmas Ale" has been strongly affected by bourbon barrel aging (BBA). I might be happy with this BBA effect were it not for the rather heavy, unharmonious spicing. At 13% ABV, this is unavoidably boozy.
