From the can: Barleywine Ale aged in French Armagnac barrels with cherries for 10 years.
I don't know what French Armagnac is, so I'll probably miss some of the expected flavor profiles.
Opaque black in color with a fluffy chocolate colored head. Gorgeous. Smells of leather and pipe tobacco. The aroma makes me not want to pull my nose away and yet teases my tastebuds at the same time. First sip is delicious, I think my tongue just slapped my brain. Rich dark chocolate and chocolate covered cherries. Soooo incredible smooth with no hint of the 13% abv. This beer is dangerous. Velvety smooth mouthfeel with a thick coating that makes the flavor last. OHB is vastly underrated for their barrel aging.
