The rating tells the story, this is just an overall "good" beer.
Appearance is just as it should be, jet black with a thin tan head. Only complaint is that the head subsides rather quickly and leaves very little lacing. Aroma is of roasted malt, and oats, slightly sweet and very pleasing.
Taste is right on target for an oatmeal stout, roasty a little sweet but not too cloying. Very easy on the palate. Mouthfeel may be a little thin for the style, but good none-the-less. Easy enough to drink 2-3 with your meal.
My favorite brew from Hub City's menu, I've had enough that I can review it from memory.

Pitch black pour with a thick tan head. Malt nose all over the place.
Taste is rich, thick and malty. The oatmeal comes through with a slightly sweet, oaty flavor that is sweetish, maybe sweeter than most oatmeal stouts but not quite milk stout. The mouthfeel is like velvet, an excellent brew overall.
