It came to me a hazy but vibrant yellow, almost glowing with carbonation. A thin finger of soft white head settled soon to a patchy quilt of froth. Rings of lacing adorned the inside of the glass.
The aroma swirled a thin note of bready yeast and grain, along with equally sparse hints of a spice melange and banana mixed with vague citrus.
The first sip carried a grainy sweetness rife with tongue-tingling lights of lemon. Coriander, clove, and even cinnamon came through, but mildy, though disctinct. Belgian-style yeast arrived close to the end, doughy and earthy. The finish was a lingering sonnet of sassy spice and wheat, crisp and clean. It's classicly styled and very enjoyable.
Light bodied, perhaps it was the carbonation that did its level best to make it feel as watery as it did, though that same carbonation did pep up the inside of the mouth slightly.
While not without a couple mild warts, the thinness in the aroma and body were not apparent in the flavor, and that saved the day. It was zesty, spicy, and went down in a breeze, with a clean presence that makes this a target beer when thirst is an issue. Maybe not one of my favorite Legacy offerings, but nothing here tells me that they didn't do their best. Hey, they can't all be Big Winners. And this one is certainly no loser.

When I heard that this was the recipe that Pretzel City used for their Belgian White, I knew I had to try this and since I enjoyed the Pretzel City I was hoping it would be good. I had it this weekend on tap at the Grey Lodge.
The beer poured a nice hazy golden color with a nice creamy white head. It had a very strong lemony, orange peel smell to it, nice and refreshing. The taste is alo very citrusy but not overpowering. Nice and carbonated but not alot of body to speak off. The beer has a nice aftertaste and is very drinkable.

I had this one for the 1st time during The Legacy Night at The Grey Lodge after tiring of the Legacy Hedonism (a great beer). It was a refreshing change of pace albeit an odd one for late December.
Pours a hazy golden yellowish color with a thin but creamy looking one finger head.
Smells very lemony with a spicy kick in there also. (I had no lemon or orange slice in my serving)
Tastes lemony at first with a citrusy finish, but not much body to it.
Very good mouthfeel, sweet and smooth with a little more carbonation than I thought it would have.
This is a very drinkable beer. It is a better interpretation of the style than Hoegaarten. I think The Ho' has gone downhill over the last few years. This one reminds me of Allagash Wit.

On tap at the Blue Dog in Lansdale, as their house brew...
Appears a hazy light gold with a light white head. Streaks of lacing are left around the glass.
Smell is of huge amounts of coriander, pepper, Belgian yeast, and orange peel.
Taste is of the same aromas albeit slightly watered down and not as intense.
Mouthfeel seems a bit light and watery, which is typical for the style but expected. Spicyness and sugary yeast still hangs on nicely.
