Served on tap at TDR Exton on 4/12/08.
Poured a pinkish amber with thin off-white/light pink head. Little retention and lacing. Smells of raspberries, clove, biscuits, honey. Tastes of wheat, honey, yeast, and raspberries. Yeasty and effervescent with good sweetness, breadiness, and a tart finish. Hides alcohol amazingly well. Easy to drink but on the sweet side. Makes for a good dessert beer or a fruity spin on a Belgian.

Had this on tap at the Appalachian Brewing Co 10th Aniversary Beer Festival Sept 07
It started with a nice pink color and fruity aroma. Sweet, light and refreshing flavor and a balanced body. The finish was kind of sweet and fruity. It is rated at 9.5abv but didnt seem to taste or feel that strong in weight. Try it! I'd have another if I could find it on tap!

On tap at Capone's...
Appears a pink toned light gold with a small white head that quickly fades out. Scattered lacing is left around the glass.
Smell is of fresh tart raspberries, along with a whiff of perfumy, floral aromas mixed with honey.
Taste is of the obvious tart raspberries, along with light spice, and table sugar. This is supposedly the Euphoria with a raspberry addition. Euphoria is one of my favorite locally made beers and none of the wonderful characteristics of that beer come through and shine in this one. No tropical fruit, or phenolic doughy yeast found here. It's just sort of muddled out behind the tart raspberries.
Mouthfeel is crisp, medium bodied, sort of thin in the finish, with some table sugar resonating.
This is a drink that's been tailored for the ladies night outings...the only problem is that the ladies can only handle one of these, which weighs in around 11% abv.

Sampled today on tap at Union Jack's Inn On The Manatawny. This is an interesting approachable fruity beer that my wife would like. It is a Strong Belgian Pale Ale that is brewed with some hints of raspberries.
Appearance: Pours an attractive amber color with a head almost leaning toward pink.
Smell: It had a small nose, though it was a bit too cold. The aroma did have some bread malts and a hint of raspberry.
Taste: Simple. Approachable. Sweet and fruity to start with a mixture of spices and sugars and then a lingering berry tart dry aftertaste. The finish is crisp but long. Nice. Only a little of the alcohol shows through.
Mouthfeel: Light and easy with adequate carbonation, crisp but astringent finish.
Drinkability: Dangerous! This is a very easy drinking beer! WOW! I don't know if I should actually introduce my wife to this one or not... hmm... =)
Hope this is helpful.
Cheers!

It was a special treat to find this brew on tap- got a recommendation from the helpful bartender on this one. Poured a light amber with minimal head- bready malt aromas, hint of fruity spice. Was amazingly smooth on the mouth, with hardly a hint of alcohol on the tongue. A slight floral hoppiness counteracted the fermented berry flavor and the sour yeast. Refreshing, interesting brew.

Sampled at the Iron Hill, Belgium Comes to West Chester event last night. I was suprised and very happy to see a new Legacy beer on the tap list so it was one of the first that I got a glass off. The beer pours a deep brown color with a slight off white head. The aroma has a nice raspberry touch to it and is followed by a candi sugar/abv hint as well. The taste is complex. You have the Belgian style strong ale taste which is rounded out by the Raspberry notes as well, all wrapped up in the high abv as it goes down. Another well done Legacy beer that I hope to see more of.
