Hazy copper with a small off white head that doesn't last long, no lacing either. Not much aroma, a bit of grass and caramel. Bready medicine flavors not very pleasant, medium bodied with a watery mouthfeel, finishes on the dry side with a funny lemony aftertaste. I had only bought one bottle and thats all I want.

I don't know why I had this beer in my fridge but I guess it's time to give it a try. Well, this beer is complete shit. Just an awful tasting product. Cloying honey sweetness is there then offset by a barrage of tealike herbal tastes, off medicinal flavors, and a sick sourness in the finish. I could only drink about 5 ounces of this before it went to the drain, and I almost never drain pour.

Pours with a decent head. The aroma is earthy and herbal, but not in a good way. The mouthfeel is pretty weak and watery. The flavor is a weird herbal flavor that tastes a lot like josta cola. The malt component of the flavor is seriously lacking and would probably make this beer drinkable if it was there. If you haven't had it, it's worth trying just to see what not to do. Just don't buy more than a bottle or two until you've had it.

How many of you have ever wished that you could get all the snake oil bullshit of an energy drink in beer-form instead? Forget that cloying, disgusting Red Bull crap. For your ginseng, gingko biloba and guarana needs (a "refreshing blend" no less!), grab a Blucreek Herbal Ale instead!
Seriously,
WTF?
Pours a generalized amber with a disappearing white fizzy head.
Nose full of- guess what?-herbs! Leafy and spicy and void of anything else.
Begins with a forceful, astringent roasty malt. Malt fades, but the astringency lingers. No depth to speak of. Herbal pangs add traces of bitterness and spice. And that's that.
Ghostly light, macro-fizzy body. Gimmick all the way.
And to complicate things, I don't feel any more energetic/clear minded/spiritually enlightened.
I'm hoping Blucreek's next attempt will be "Laudanum Ale".

This brew poured a small head of fine off-white bubbles and a transparent amber brown body with a mild malt-hop aroma. It had a mild bitter inital taste that smoothed in its finish in flavors of wheat and a hint of spice.

When poured, this brew had a small creamy off-white head with small bubbles that quickly diminished. The body was clear and its hue was amber. There was virtually no lacing with this brew. It had a light malty, hoppy aroma and I also noticed a slight spicy aroma as well. It had a sour flavor from start to finish in my opinion and the palate was light and creamy. The carbonation in this brew was lively. This is another style of beer that I cannot seem to acquire a taste or liking for.

Clear deep amber color. An airy off-white head of about a mm thick coats the surface. The aroma, of all things, is herbal. Both hop wise and actual herb wise. Decent enough. The body could use some heft. It is very watery and light. For all of the Ginseng, Gingko Bilboa and Guarana in this beer, I was looking for a little more character in the flavor profile. But this beer doesn't have much depth. A weak malt backbone does little to support much else. Then again, there isn't much else to support. Some bitter herbal tones maintain a ghostly appearance. If nothing else, I hope this beer helps me to acheive a mental state of equilibrium.
