This ale was a very pleasant surprise. It is very good example of Mosaic hopped ale. Very clean taste with a hint of citrus. It a refreshing ale with enough body and depth to make you want to take some time to get to know it. I only wished I had one more ready to drink and I will buy it again.

L- Pours mid gold, with a fat white head slowly reducing, slight haze, and gentle rising CO2.
S- I get subtle fruit, I think the most distinct one is lychee.
T- Dry, ohhh... notably dry... But then it goes off into something of a perfumed fruity aroma that I imagine is from the hops. As I get used to this minutes later, the hoppy edge eases and it tastes more balanced.
M- Hoppy dry, but not quite in the league of the contemporarily fashionable 'hob-bomb' [to me] beers. Clean and fresh tasting. Certainly refreshing.
O- For me beer has gone through about three eras during my lifetime (I'm early 50's). Until c1980 it was Watneys, Whitbread, Long-Life, Double-Diamond, Skol, and so on. Mega-brewery mediocrity. From say 1980 to say 2000 the scene internationalised, and people also re-engaged with real ale, and could afford to pay for higher quality brews. They became better informed and discerning. Just back from 10 years abroad and the UK is now dwelling on the craft scene and it's style. Lots of characterful brews, many 'having their own story' on the lable and most coming at a premium. I'm finding several beers recently that are new to me are 'hop-bombs', just OTT. But this beer is interesting as it's hoppy but for me towards the edge of having it still in balance. Bravo!!! This is a brew that even directly names itself after a type of hop, that a) Isn't blowing me straight out the window b) has sought to find a decent balance. - If I want something dry, *quite* hoppy but fresh tasting and in balance then I would buy this again.

Can, 500ml from M&S . fresh.
Pours clear gold, nice little head
Lovely mosaic aroma of floral mango. Taste gives more mango and lime and a herbal bitterness that is fairly refined and appropriate. Nice drying quality without ever threatening to be astringent. , fairly insubstantial mouthfeel, good level of carb for the beer.
A very well constructed beer as you would expect from Adnams. Perhaps more malt flavours might be welcomed

From the can. Nice mosaic aroma, herbal, citrus and tropical fruit. The taste is more like a dry hopped lager.

Light marmalade orange.
Wispy floral hops on the nose. Mango and lime.
Orange bitterness to match the colour. Distant earthiness.
Mild carbonation leading to a decent feel.
Nice.
