Cask half pint at The Flying Chariot (JDW), Heathrow Airport, terminal 2. Black colour, beige head. Mildly roasty and fruity aroma. Smooth, deliciously fruity and mildly roasty flavour, high drinkability. Will buy again if I can find it.

Pint at JDW Sutton, Surrey.
A: Dark, opaque, medium sized head with a faint tan, left lots of lacing around the side of the glass.
S: Phenols, malt and berries, similar to a Belgian dark ale.
T: Berries, malt, dark chocolate and smoke, finished with a hit of bitterness.
M: Very smooth, medium to heavy body, not much carbonation.
O: A decent rather than outstanding porter, but very drinkable and suited to the colder weather.
