L- Pale chestnut, clear, pours with thin white head clearing quite swiftly.
S- Quite deep roasty-toasty, faintly smokey, off into ale territory.
T- Distinctly toasty, crisp too, very clean. The taste would be refreshing on a hot summers day. A longer-term impression is that there is a touch of (trad, not hipster/exotic) fruitiness to the Taste.
M- A bright crisp ale. Sessionable as it's not taxing on the palate.
O- Interesting beer, brings more flavout than a lager, not as full-on as a bitter or ale. I could stick with this for a while if I expected to have a few, wanted decent taste, but nothing to end up feeling the effects too much.
Bought from the Adnams shop on the Holkham Estate in Holkham Norfolk.
330ml bottle BB: 31/5/2020 £1.89
