Collaboration with Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
Adnams and Sierra Nevada have brewed Eastern Edge, celebrating the role of the worldwide beer community in Adnams' 150-year history. Both have an influential vista on their eastern edge: Adnams has the sea, Sierra Nevada had the mountains. They have inspired a pioneering outlook, and a mutual respect for the environment.
Yeast from both breweries, plus UK and US varieties of Cascade and Chinook hops, give resinous pine, grapefruit and pineapple flavours. Rye and East Anglian malts add a biscuity balance to this truly transatlantic collaboration.

On-draught @ The Duke of Wellington, Dunedin, New Zealand. $13 NZD per pint.
"Transatlantic pale ale." 4.8% ABV.
Along with Adnams’ house yeast, brewed with UK and US varieties of Cascade and Chinook hops.
Floral, slightly oily, a bit citrusy. Pale malt. Biscuity English yeast.
Easy drinking, but I don't know that it is an improvement on Sierra Nevada's pale ale or that the English elements do it any favors.
