Brewed for the Olympics, with ingredients sourced from each of the five continents. It’s a clean and refreshing 3.9% pale ale with a spicy citrus and subtle ginger aroma and a good malty backbone balanced by an orange peel bitterness. We’ve used malted barley from Europe, hops from Australasia and spices from Africa, Asia and America.

On cask at the Willow Walk in London, Flame Runner is clear, burnt dark gold with a big bubbled white head.
Smell is yeast and phenolic, some grapefruit. Faintest hint of ginger.
Taste is hoppy, citrus and floral. Nice brightness, punchy.
Mouthfeel is slippery and light.
Drinkability is high, love the US west coast influenced hop bill twist on the traditional real ale, flavorful but sessionable. On of my favorites of the trip, the cask was too quick to blow for my taste!
