This beer originally debuted in Pilsen, Czechoslovakia and quickly gained popularity in other brewing countries. Light to medium bodied, with noticeable hop aroma and flavour thanks to generous additions of Saaz hops.

A: Clear golden-yellow; white head, some retention, good lace.
S: Earthy-metallic hops and a light breadyness.
T: Good bitterness up front, metallic hop flavour, slight breadyness from the malt, dry finish. All the right flavours are there, but they're not very pronounced.
M: Well-attenuated, slightly lighter than moderate body, moderate carbonation, smooth, dry.
D: Crisp.
