Copenhagen 13/5 2016. 50 cl bottle from DøgnNetto, Utterslevvej, Kbh. NV. Yellow label I Royalk Unibrew's usual Lottrup brand design with a slanted, horizontal black stripe with the name in white letters. Long explanation on the label of the name. Which does not in any way explain the connection of the oldest street in NY where they brewed beer and the establishment of the Danish brewery Ceres in Århus.
Pours reddish amber with a small white head. Settles as a flimsy little island of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is sweet with distinct tart and fruity notes. Passion fruit meets orange and citrus. Not very intense - but nice.
Medium strong carbonation and slightly thick palate. Lightly tingling texture.
Flavor has subdued sweetness and a good bitterness that lingers in the aftertaste.
The streets of NY might not have much in common with Århus but if this is the excuse they need to make a decent hoppy IPA it i's fine with me.

500 ml can, from NETTO Hjørring. ABV is 6.0%, IBU 45. Clear amber colour, moderate white head. Aroma of malts, caramel and moderate fruity hops. Smooth mouthfeel. The flavour has a very nice balance between the malts and hops, sufficient malts with caramel but not too sweet, distinct but pleasant hops with a hint of grapefruit. Would buy again.

Pours clear amber with white head.
Aroma is moderate hops, malty, grapefruit,
Taste is hoppy but not overwhelming, sweet malt, grapefruit notes, little citrus, decent IPA especially for the price.

Brought in a supermarket in Copenhagen & opened at home. It pours a dark red colour with a white head. Aromas of citrus & nuts. Tastes of citrus, nuts, vanilla, flowers & caramel leading to a unrefined fruity shrubby bitter finish.
