Is this the same Royal Export that Royal Unibrew makes? Well anyway this is a FAXE in its trademark 1l can and would not exaggerate to say that this is their best.
Tastes like a pale (euro) pilsener to me with lager-like carbonation and slight euro lager hints in the nose (yeast and corn). Luckily this latter dissipates very quickly and the carbonation isn't annoying either - after this its taste doesn't change any further by the sip which is good. So for a moment when you lift the glass you feel strange, you fear that the sickening of the euro lager will overwhelm it all but then its gone and you have an okay pilsener. Still, it is far the best Faxe imho, not that bad after all. Not THAT bad I mean. If I'd have to pick up a FAXE for that good old Viking nostalgy, it would definitely be this one.
